RawVoice in partnership with Chris Christensen host of the world famous Amateur Travel Podcast is proud to announce the official launch of the TravelCast Network. Travel professionals and enthusiasts can now access the latest travel news and information via an innovative new Web site, TravelCastNetwork.com.
Travel news gathered from all over the Internet and presented at TravelCastNetwork.com includes podcasts, Web radio and Web TV programs. This site is the only one of its kind on the Web and it’s free. It allows seasoned world travelers and weekend wanderers to listen to timely stories on topics including trip planning, economic destinations, exciting sites most people wouldn’t think about, what to take with you, government warnings and much more.
An advanced feature allows the user to listen to the podcast, radio or TV show while still surfing the Internet or continuing work on a computer.
“Whether you’re trying to find a good travel destination, trying to get up the courage to travel independently or just want to know how to better tackle Walt Disney World, the TravelCastNetwork has the resources to help you,” explains Chris Christensen, director of the new site and producer of the Amateur Traveler. “The TravelCastNetwork.com is a free resource that will be helpful to those who are actively traveling or simply dreaming of traveling some day. We hear back from listeners who are buying airplane tickets, taking gap years or planning their next vacation based on what they’re learning.”

Another First from RawVoice PowerPress Next Generation!

Today with the release of the updated PowerPress Podcast Plugin for WordPress I can confidently say that once more we have done something in the new media / podcasting space that no one else has.
The PowerPress plugin has been a hands-down winner for a lot of podcasters for more than a year now. But we have just upped the odds. For the first time podcasters can have an integrated podcast publishing solution while maintaining their own brand on their own WordPress blog.
The new update brings Blubrry Podcast Statistics to the dashboard, Podcast Publishing Integrated with Blubrry Hosting, allowing a simple 1,2,3 podcast publishing process. Heck, we even write your ID3 tags for you now, not to mention multi-language support!
Podcasters are supposed to focus on the media creation. RawVoice and the Blubrry Podcast Community is where podcasters find free and paid services that allow them to do just that — not to mention we are putting hundreds of thousands of dollars in podcasters’ pockets each month.

RawVoice Introduces a Podcast Plugin for WordPress
Friday, August 8th, 2008RawVoice is proud to announce our latest podcasting tool it’s called the Blubrry PowerPress Podcast Plugin for WordPress.
We built the PowerPress plugin to support our Premium Publishing Service at Blubrry. It’s a wordpress podcast plugin for our customers, and those using our, or other third party stats service.
Most of the members on Blubrry.com & TechPodcasts.com host their web sites using WordPress. With MovableType and other Blogging applications have rich podcasting plugins already we focused on the WP community.
With the launch of our latest services (Podcast Publishing Premium and Podcast Publishing Premium with Hosting), we found it necessary to offer a podcast plugin that can support episodes posted from our system.
The task was really simple: develop a WordPress podcasting plugin that stores podcast episodes the way WordPress expects them! Now our Publishing Customers can publish their episodes through our system which cross posts their podcast episodes to their WordPress blog and have fully compliant validated RSS feeds with optimized iTunes / Zune Market place support.
Being we have our own Free and Premium Podcast Statistic Service we did not put in a statistics module in the plugin. After all we spent many months developing our own statistic service that thousands or podcasters are using, along with a number of commercial media networks.
This new Podcast Plugin is very powerful. In that it will give a new or existing podcaster everything they will need to add podcasting support to their website. We look forward to everyones feedback and like other products we have it will mature over time.
