The PowerPress plugin has been a hands-down winner for a lot of podcasters for more than a year now. But we have just upped the odds. For the first time podcasters can have an integrated podcast publishing solution while maintaining their own brand on their own WordPress blog.

The new update brings Blubrry Podcast Statistics to the dashboard, Podcast Publishing Integrated with Blubrry Hosting, allowing a simple 1,2,3 podcast publishing process. Heck, we even write your ID3 tags for you now, not to mention multi-language support!

Podcasters are supposed to focus on the media creation. RawVoice and the Blubrry Podcast Community is where podcasters find free and paid services that allow them to do just that — not to mention we are putting hundreds of thousands of dollars in podcasters’ pockets each month.

Podcasters, ask yourself: What company is really looking out for you, allowing you to build your own empire?

To see how we have made podcasting easier for new and old podcasters alike check out the blog post at Blubrry.com and, if you’re like me and want to watch the demo videos in a bigger resolution, check out how we have integrated our podcast hosting services.

RawVoice is proud to announce our latest podcasting tool it’s called the Blubrry PowerPress Podcast Plugin for WordPress.

We built the PowerPress plugin to support our Premium Publishing Service at Blubrry. It’s a wordpress podcast plugin for our customers, and those using our, or other third party stats service.

Most of the members on Blubrry.com & TechPodcasts.com host their web sites using WordPress. With MovableType and other Blogging applications have rich podcasting plugins already we focused on the WP community.

With the launch of our latest services (Podcast Publishing Premium and Podcast Publishing Premium with Hosting), we found it necessary to offer a podcast plugin that can support episodes posted from our system.

The task was really simple: develop a WordPress podcasting plugin that stores podcast episodes the way WordPress expects them! Now our Publishing Customers can publish their episodes through our system which cross posts their podcast episodes to their WordPress blog and have fully compliant validated RSS feeds with optimized iTunes / Zune Market place support.

Being we have our own Free and Premium Podcast Statistic Service we did not put in a statistics module in the plugin. After all we spent many months developing our own statistic service that thousands or podcasters are using, along with a number of commercial media networks.

This new Podcast Plugin is very powerful. In that it will give a new or existing podcaster everything they will need to add podcasting support to their website. We look forward to everyones feedback and like other products we have it will mature over time.

RawVoice is proud to announce the new site design for PodcasterNews.com. PCN was RawVoice’s very first site that we launched in 2005 and has had significant success in being a primary point of presence for a number of podcasts that are all short format content.

With this update a whole new site design has been implemented including a new publishing and site management system which will allow our podcasters to publish Video along with Audio. We also are now featuring new content on the front page in a unique way that allows all podcasters to get equal exposure to listeners.

The new design really brings out the fact that the content being created on the network is truly a team effort and that ever content creators content is treated as a integral part of the overall network.

With this roll out we have introduced our new stream lined Podcast Publishing system which allows podcasters the ability to essentially have a full blown multi-media publishing system as media creators can now Blog, Publish Audio or Video all within a very streamlined interface that we feel is quite evolutionary

The RawVoice generator is the first comprehensive media publishing platform that has integrated podcast media publishing and a blogging component that is commercially available to any third party company looking for their own platform.

Be sure to visit PodcasterNews.com and check out the power of the new website in consuming content and if you want a test drive of the new publishing system contact the team here at RawVoice.

PodCamp AZ (Arizona) was a huge success. Michelle and Brent Spore planned, what I would call, the perfect un-conference. The venue was organized well, the sessions were ordered in a way that allowed podcasters at different experience levels to gain knowledge during every part of the day. I obtained a lot of knowledge from the event and I am grateful that I was able to attend.

I almost filled my notebook with ideas, suggestions and thoughts during the PodCamp. It is obvious to me that most of the focus of the sessions were geared to how to get started and how to monetize your podcast. RawVoice has been addressing these issues since the beginning and the entire PodCamp experience has reinforced my view that what we doing at RawVoice is what we should be doing.

The PodCamp provides a venue that is exclusively for podcasters. Even though RawVoice was a sponsor, we weren’t sitting there trying to spoon feed our message. Instead, knowledge was shared and friendships were made. The whole experience makes me think that Todd should move the Podcast Awards to one of the PodCamps scheduled for 2007. This type of atmosphere is definitely where the recognition of the great work everyone does should be recognized.

Below are some photos from PodCamp AZ.

Since RawVoice acquired Tech Podcast earlier in the year we have been working really hard to increase the value of the brand and by the increase in traffic to the site we are happy with the progress.

In a recent meeting we had with members of the network we shared ways in which the network can work closer together with each of the independent media creators and have a good plan for ongoing growth headed into the new year.

The combined reach of the shows in the network amazes even us and we really want to continue to grow the community. Thus over the next few months we will be taking a closer look at technical shows in the podcasting community and will be extending invitations for them to join.

While it is well known that tech has been the easiest to sell advertising to, the real value being gained by companies advertising in the tech podcast space is being realized in record setting ROI.

We are proud to be the team that has been able to facilitate keeping many of the same advertisers in the podcasting ad space approaching three years running now with most increasing their buys each quarter.

Being the network is growing we have a significant amount of inventory available that we would like to move advertisers into thus if you have a company that would make a good fit. Help us land some new deals and we will reward you for bringing new advertisers into the space.

Most importantly if you are a tech podcaster and you meet the networks strict listing requirements we invite you to apply for membership.

We hit a major milestone today as we have finished the first Phase of our Stats Engine. It looks really great. We are now opening it up to all of the users that are currently in Ad deals with RawVoice.

We are working on a video presentation to show what has been put together. This has been a long hard road to get where we are with this. Lots of code and lots of testing to make sure it meets the standards we wanted.

The best part it that this stats system is a commercial product and companies can license this from us starting today. Send an e-mail to marketing@rawvoice.com if you would like more details. This is the first dedicated media statistics package available to any company to license as their own.

For a long time we have been manually processing podcaster statistics that are on ad deals with us while time consuming it was accurate. I knew the system we used was one that could be trusted. With the incident that has happened at a popular hosting provider this month where stats and log files have been flaky since the third week of July I am very happy that I have been on the RawVoice Stats Generator for almost a month.

We have about 20 shows that have been running their media data through the RawVoice Stats Generator now for over a month, and later this week we are going to open it up and they will get to see what we have been collecting.

While the Stats Generator it is still in Beta, I think we have really hit a home run here, as picky as I am on this subject we want to make sure the numbers are extremely accurate, not only for our advertiser reporting but also for the podcasters on those media buys.

Podcast Statistics has been a big discussion point for a lot of podcasters and media companies. We now will have a free solution for those part of our community but also for any company wanting to have a commercial / enterprise solution.

We will be announcing our commercial pricing in the coming weeks but let me be the first to say if your looking for a video, audio, media measurement solution we now have one that is based on two years of research in collecting podcast media statistics.
