Subscribe Sidebar plugin for Wordpress
The subscribe sidebar plugin for Wordpress came from Todd's obsession to provide easy to find links to the most common Feed subscription options.
The sidebar plugin is Wordpress widgets enabled, but may be added to non widget aware Wordpress themes as well. The plugin also detects if you have Podpress installed and can optionally display the Podpress podcast RSS feed.
As of current, the Subscribe Sidebar plugin provides RSS 2.0, Atom, Podcast RSS, add to Yahoo, add to Google, add to Zune, add to iTunes and follow on Twitter subscribe links.
Blubrry Powerpress plugin for Wordpress
Wordpress in it's default instal configuration does not support podcasting at a level that most people need. The Powerpress Podcast Plugin has all of the elements needed to have you podcast RSS feed in completed compliance in order to obtain a iTunes listing and is optimized for listings in podcast directories and the Zune Marketplace.
The Powerpress plugin also includes a player that you can configure to appear on your blog posts so guests can listen/view your podcast episodes straight from your website. It should be noted that nearly 50% of people listen to podcast online versus through their portable media player.
