Hello Blubrry Community

First of all we have seen a nice influx of podcasters / Videocasters to the
community and I want to welcome all of you to the community. During the past
week there has been a flurry of activity on the blubrry site. We have added
several servers to handle the ever increasing traffic to the website. Many
of you that spend any time on the site will notice a significant increase in
website performance. Now that we have opened up the Forums section I would
hope that as you are now part of the community that your would feel free to
participate in the forums section at Blubrry.com

Some Quick Updates:

1st I have received the info on the latest advertising promotion that I will
be announcing tomorrow to all of you that have current advertising profiles.
I do want to emphasize though that as I review advertising profiles many of
the profiles do not contain complete information. In space where we ask for
estimated audiences and so forth please give us whole numbers and do not add
text notes as it takes me a while to clean up the data. I will be asking
Angelo to set entry rules on the survey so that incorrect data cannot be
entered.

2nd The latest round of site updates are complete but we have a very cool
"Juice it" applet that is almost finished that will be released shortly.

3rd. The GotoMeeting payments for November are coming in the next several
days but we do have some people that did not send in stats for November you
will be getting personal e-mails in the next 24 hours if you are one of
those sites and will have 24 hours to respond to get your stats in. If you
have not sent in your December Stats you need to get those in now as we are
expecting a little quicker turn around time on payments.

As always we have a lot of things cooking and the team is highly engaged in
building out the site. In the very near future we will be rolling out our
automated podcast statistics system that all shows that are involved in
advertising buys or have completed surveys will be able to use. We have been
working very hard to have what we consider to be one of the most
comprehensive stats reporting programs in the podcasting space. The launch
of that tool will allow us to automatically collect your stats information
for ad deals allowing us to better serve you and build promotions on the
fly. More on that as we get ready to introduce it to the community.

Of concern, many of you that have joined blubrry have done so assuming that
the community is a directory. This simply is not the case and hopefully you
have read the terms of service of the community. If you have not please do
so at faq.blubrry.com as we expect each show that is part of the community
to do their part to help build awareness through non obtrusive announcements
in their video and audio podcast that they are part of the blubrry
community. Those of you in current ad deals are exempt from doing that but
we want to make sure that everyone is doing their part to build the
community.

Again those with completed surveys will be getting notifications tomorrow of
the new advertising campaign.
