Blubrry Community Official Update #24

Hi folks things have been moving fast and furious here at RawVoice so has the pace of daily visitor counts to Blubrry and new community members Signups. I want to welcome the nearly 100 new podcasters to the network since our last update.

Here is a update on what we have been up to:

• The Blubrry Jam with Brother Love was a huge success in NYC, which followed Podcamp NYC. We had a large number of podcasters come out and enjoy the release of Brother Love’s new CD. This was a charity event to raise money for the Boomer Esiason Foundation Exercise For Life scholarship fund which fights Cystic Fibrosis. This campaign continues until the middle of next month and we want to thank everyone that has made donations over at www.blubrryjam.com, and we welcome any further donations

• Podcamp NYC was a huge success the RawVoice team answered questions at our sponsor table, then late in the afternoon Jeevan and Jeff led a podcast monetization panel that was well attended and had representatives from Blip.TV, Podango, and several others participating.

Advertising:

• The GotoMeeting and GotoMyPC Advertising campaigns are well under way and in about 6 weeks we will be working on our new campaigns that will get underway in July.

• The GoDaddy Advertising campaign remains open to any Podcaster that wants to earn some extra money on the side in a CPA type of deal. We want to congratulate the podcasters that are involved. The top Podcaster did well over $5000.00 in revenue in March. ceo@rawvoice.com

• Make sure your Ad Surveys are up to date, the survey can be found in "your settings"

Site Update

• Statistics Engine – Many of you on ad buys are now using our re-direct services and while we are making sure the new stats engine is reporting correctly we expect to open up the stats module to those of you that are using it in the near future. The stats engine will be available free to use by any community member that has a current advertising survey that is no older than 90 days.

• Hosting we are going to be opening up a very limited hosting beta, if you have wanted to host on Blubrry.com, TechPodcasts.com please drop me a line and we will put a select number of you on the beta.

• We are still in need of PHP Developers, we also have a developing need for a windows application programmer. If you would like to join the RawVoice team drop a e-mail to cio@rawvoice.com

• We are looking for an additional Advertising Sales person if you fit the bill and have experience in selling advertising media drop me at line at ceo@rawvoice.com

Events

• Are you traveling to Podcast Expo? Are you bringing your Spouse? We have employment opportunities for Podcast Expo starting on Thursday Evening through Sunday Night. We are in need of a half dozen people to staff a special event we will be announcing, and we would like to fill those spots from within our community.

We will be releasing a new official podcast of the Blubrry community at www.brrycast.com shortly as well as updates to the UseeBlu Video Podcast at www.useeblu.com
