Official Blubrry Podcast Community Update

First things first I want to welcome all of the new media creators who have joined the Blubrry community. Many of you met us at the Podcast and New Media Expo in Ontario. We are very happy that you stopped by the booth or joined us in our hospitality room and warmly welcome you to the community.

A very quick update for those involved in Citrix advertising deals. Renewals for GotoMeeting and GotoMyPC have been sent out if you have not responded to the renewal you need to do so immediately as we will be removing shows from the buy if you have not replied and complied with the 5th requirement in the email that was sent to each of the shows on the 4th quarter plus 1 buy.

Also Checks for June and July will be headed out starting early next week, and I would expect August to follow shortly their after. We have worked with the vendors to speed up payments on all campaigns.

A unbelievable amount of work has been happening behind the scenes, and as we talked about in last night’s blubrry community meeting which audio is now available at www.brrycast.com we have had up to three developers working on all the new offerings that are about to start getting introduced on the website. Everything from here on out will be an added value services that will help you grow your shows.

As each of you are mentioning the blubrry podcast community in your shows as part of the terms of membership, each help us build a huge base of cross sectional listeners that are getting exposure to a large variety of content on the blubrry website. As we are all working together to build traffic we always respect your input on what we are doing and your suggestions are helping us in many ways. A great suggestion by Mignon from Grammar Girl is going to be incorporated into Phase II of the new media stats service. Suggestion by others are being incorporated in the new shows page that will be introduced. Your suggestions do make it into our development cycle.

Updates:

• A consolidated support site has been launched at rawvoice.com/support this replaces faq.blubrry.com
• New Graphics for the Blubrry Player available in "Your Settings" updated by popular demand!
• The old advertising survey data is no longer being used you must fill out the new survey to be considered for ad buys this is available via "Your Settings" when logged into blubrry.com
• The New Media Stats System is being used by huge number shows with rave reviews, we will have some minor updates next week to fix a couple of small issues that we have found in regards to certain browser based media players.
• There is a new shows page that will be launched within the next week that really fixes some usability issues we have seen over the past year.
  

Publishing a lot of people keep asking for it and we are nearly ready to start beta testing this, and while our approach is going to be very different than other services we have built a system that we feel will contain significant added value to make you want to publish your podcast through a service that understand how most podcasters create their media.

In the Wings:

We are in talks with a third party company that we will be partnering with to move our software as a services forward, primarily the white label RawVoice generator and our white label new media statistics service. If you want your own white label site that drives the blubrry.com website and or stats service drop us a line.
